After you adopt a dog from Recycled Doggies, we hope you will stay in touch and tell us how it's going. Send us pictures and stories and we will post them on this page. Below are just some of the happy endings of our recycled doggies.
RUFUS Our first happy ending is Rufus. Many of you donated towards Rufus's treatment. He had been hit by a car 4 months before we met him, and the shelter volunteer that took him home never sought treatment for him. As a result, his leg was amputated. Rufus is now living his happily ever after with a family of 5 humans and 2 other dogs. He goes hiking and gets to run and play and swim and he is happy as a clam, as are we to know he has a good life now!
HILLARY (NOW RASTA!) Hillary was a cute little aussie/boxer mix when she was adopted from us in January. She's now a gorgeous young adult dog named Rasta who loves to watch video games and play outside. She is loved by her family and living the good life. Yay!
MIKKI
Mikki was adopted from us in October 2009. Mikki came from the Adams County Dog Pound along with 3 other sisters. Mikki (the tan boxer mix) found her forever home soon after coming to us, and she is doing beautifully with her older sister, Lilly. They love to snuggle!
